play around with the widths until you get your desired results

the ones that state an actual width such as 80px; try that at 100px; and so on. Don't try and make them too large all at once and just do one at a time so you don't forget what you have just done

Sure, if you think that you will wear earrings you should get your ears pierced. Its always good to have your ears pierced in case you ever find a pair of really cute earrings. And small diamond earrings sound nice.

www.skem9.com has a TON and I mean a TON of tiny profiles to choose from. I suggest trying there because its all done for you. Haha. Or you can use their generator to make your own and there is an option to make your profile tiny. its cool! I hope you find what you need!

Is it small in the picture in paint? If not then you click on the 'Image' selection on the top of paint [on the File Edit View bar] and then click 'Stretch/Skew' and then type in a number over 100 [be sure to make both horizontal and vertical the same otherwise it will mess up the proportions]

And also, what you might be thinking is just the thumbnail for the picture. When you're on your MySpace pictures, click on the image you say is small but should be big.

You can only add songs from artist pages. So go to music on myspacer then search for some singers/groups you like. In their profile they have their songs in media player. Above each song has to option 'add' click on it and voila! It's very simple really.

this wouldn't be HTML it's most likely javascript. check this out for some help. of you could go to the site you showed me and at the top of you browser click View and then click Page source then it will show you all the html or other code the page uses

since i cannot see your email address i can only tell you what happened to me. i have comcast and they made some wonderful improvement a couple months ago..supposed to speed things up!!!well, everything proceded to get screwed up.i lost things,i gained things. email fouled up, font size changed,all kind of stuff happened. threw my hands in the air and called my oldest son,who is sharp in comp. stuff..took him quite a while to straighten things out..after a couple days it resumed with great vigor. i blamed comcast

Have you tried using the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard (between scroll lock %26amp; F12)? If you press that, it will take a picture of your computer screen and place it on your clipboard. Then you can paste to your favorite photo editing program and crop out everything but your avatar. Then save it to your hard drive %26amp; upload it to myspace or an image server.

As far as I know, you can't get your Yahoo avatar to upload the way you want it to onto MySpace.

Your Yahoo avatar is a Flash animation ("Flash" is a kind of computer language for some short animations and video clips).

If it were an animated .gif file, you'd be able to copy it and paste it, and it would still blink or smile (or whatever). But because it's Flash, you cannot.

Here are some partial solutions:

1. Capture it using the "print screen" button on your keyboard (to the right of F12, and you need to press SHIFT at the same time, too) and turn it into a JPG or GIF with some paint or graphics program. It will not be animated. It will not have movement.

2. Make numerous captures and turn them into an animated GIF of your own, and get a geeky friend to do it for you.

3. Find someone smarter than I am, and ask them if there is a way to capture Flash animations. I don't think there is, and if there is, I don't think it will do you any good unless you find a program that will convert Flash to the animated GIF format or an AVI or MPEG movie-type format (which you could then upload to YouTube and then embed in MySpace).

I wish I had a better answer for you, because I would like to do the same thing!

Actually, yes! Baby birds are fed grubs and bugs by their parents. Wetted dry or canned cat and dog food is often an excellent baby bird food. Its okay to keep feeding the baby bird that cat food.

But if you don't often rescue baby birds, please know you may have picked up a fledgling. If it was not in a nest, but on the ground, most likely it was at the stage when it first jumped out of the nest and was going to spend 3 days or so on the ground hopping around and being cared for by its parents while it exercised its wings - this is a stage birds go through and humans dont usually notice and if humans do approach, the parent birds usually stay out of the way. You should try returning it to the location you found it, then hiding out of sight, and waiting for an hour or two to see if the parents show up. If they do, then leave it be.

If the bird is fully feathered, it is most likely a fledgling and has left the nest on it's own and it's parents are caring for it. You need to replace it where you found it..preferably in a scrub or tree so it is relatively safe from predators, and the parents should come back to feed it. If it is unfeathered...then look for a nest and if you can find it...replace it into the nest. Do not worry about your scent being on the chick..birds have a very poorly developed sense of smell and will NOT reject a baby that has been touched. If you cannot find a nest, get the bird to a local wildlife rehab for it's best chance of survival. Also, keep in mind, it is illegal for you to try and raise this bird on your own.

okay, i tried to use windows movie maker. but i think it has an issue with coding or something from videos shot with my sony DCR-SR 40. whenever i try and import a video. it will say that theres been an error. etc.

anyways i ran across software called Tiny visual photo total video converter 3.0 and it looks awesome has what i need and apparently alot more. except for adequate instructions on how to use it. but i did what i could, and got "something" but it says when i try and play it, the video will not play cause it is not supported by something, can't recall what, anyways all i'm trying to do is to compress my videos so that they are under the 100 MB youtube/myspace limit, convert to mpeg4 (Divx, Xvid) format at 320x240 resolution with MP3 auto, at 30 frames per second!!!

and for the life of me this has turned out to be one hellish task. could someone PLEASE share with me how one might address this matter?

First of all version 3.0 is a beta version so it may not have all the bugs worked out yet....secondly what you are going to need to do is to convert your video to a .flv file, you may not have a player that supports flv but thats generally what the videos on youtube are....convert it then upload it, then try playing it from the youtube location.....if it plays, your done, if not you may have to edit the video as well to get the frame rate and size just right. I use Nero and I also have the full version of Macromedia Flash and have used both to convert, edit, and compress files in several formats.....have not used your program so I cannot give you any further instructs but good luck.

you have to find a color code for what color you want it. google "hexidecimal color chart" to find one. its a 6 digit/letter code. then replace font name with times new roman, arial, etc. whatever you want. finally replace the number symbols with 10, 11, 12 or whatever.

A full screen picture is only about 500k. You normally do not need anything larger than 100k for internet display. Lower the resolution. Is there a code you can put to make a normal myspace layout turn into a default layout? Also, I asked this question,googled, used jeeves and there was no right answers, is there a site where you can generate DEFAULT layouts? You need to enter a code to erase EVERYTHING (No, not just backspacing what you've entered. This code will overwrite the basic MySpace layout) and then enter a special code.

What size did you make your image in Photoshop Elements? If you made it teeny tiny, then it's gonna show teeny tiny when you upload it and try to use it as a background!

Enlarge it in Photoshop Elements and then try again. A good size is 800 (width) x 600 (height) because some people still have the smaller monitors like that. But then you'll still either have to make it tile or fill the remaining white space with a color that matches your background.

I would just delete them and start over. When it says the pictures are to big you don't have to actually change the size of the picture you just have to make the file smaller. So if you go back in to you my photos folder open whatever photo you want (make sure it is the size you want) then go to file - save as- then in that window it should have a place that says more. click on that at the bottom just move the slider so it makes the file smaller. This works in microsoft photo editor anyways. Then try to upload your photos again. I hope this helped.
