Myspace: How do I upload an image over 5 MB? That's the limit and all my photos are over that s

So, I know I can resize the image smaller, but when I do it's so tiny since it has to be 5 MB or less. Is there any way? Please help.

A full screen picture is only about 500k. You normally do not need anything larger than 100k for internet display. Lower the resolution. In a photo editing program resolution and display size are not necessarily the same thing. For optimum size figure out what the final size to be displayed will be in pixels. Then set both the size and resolution to match that.

Resizing your picture doesn't make it necessarily smaller. By reducing the quality you might achieve your goal! Check the link below, it's a freeware prog with lots of interesting features which might help you...

1- Open the picture you want to resize using windows paint.



2-click image then select "stretch/skew, in horizontal and vertical put 50% then keep putting smallers numbers until you get the size you want. click ok.



3-save it upload it on my space and you're done!
