my hair's dry. closer to straight on top, baby hairs are frizzy, cartooney odd waves and few ringlets underneath. as my hair grew from childhood it staightened out b/c of length but not completely. i dont remeber if my hair changed from so-called 7yr cycle. currently it seems a teeny bit less of a frizzy battle when combing after shower. it looks more relaxed (except underneath). why is my lower hair more curly/wavy? straightning hair makes it look flatter (not for me my hairs thick) %26amp;shiny where each strand is so evenly spaced out. i hate that look it looks fake to me. i want my hair texture to somdeay look like the girls' in the link. would that be possible? my hair did change a tiny bit (slightly less unruly but still dry) after seemingly straightening it a little once a week or less. %26amp; how to gain moisture?

to get your hair moisturized use 2 tablespoons of warm olive oil on your hair. let it sit for half an hour and then wash it out. works great. if you want your hair wavy braid it when its wet.

MOST of all, it sounds like YOU REALLY NEED A GOOD TRIM, and then---------

First of all---condition for DRY HAIR.

SECONDLY, you HAVE to take care of your hair WHEN YOU STEP OUT OF THE SHOWER, by being EASY on it with your towel.

SQUEEZE your hair--NO RUBBING TOGETHER or FLUFFING IT DRY with your towel.

Thirdly--NEVER EVER brush your hair when it's wet.

ONLY COMB from the bottom up. When you feel a snag---DON"T YANK on it, be easy with it, because wet hair is very vulnerable and it stretches only SO FAR and then POW! You will have frizzy. BABY your hair!

Blow dry DOWNWARD on your hair--toward the floor.

If the blow dryer is too hot for your hands--it is too hot for your hair!!!

Put your hands in your hair as you dry it, SLIGHTLY straightening it as you go--stretching on it,........

Last of all, Professionals have good products for hair straightening.

Most of them are very long-lasting, IF they are used right, ya know??

If your hair is 'fluffy' anyway, pull on it- out and down as you dry it.

It WON'T get flat!!

There are three types of hair follicle, Straight (round), wavy(ovular) and curly(more ovular). If your hair is any of the last two, you need to get a chemical straightener or get it straightened at a hair place. Frizzyness is something different. Humidity will make hair frizzy. A good way to battle this is to use a conditioner that is right for you and to blow dry so the hair is completely dry. You can also try hairspray or mousse. Wearing your hair pulled back will keep it straight too.

One thing to remember is that there are a million looks out there. If you find the one that is best for you, using what you got, you'll be set.
